A little bug-bear is that nothing is diensionally accurate unless it's molded.

We "got good" at flat sheets after about (a few years, honestly 🙄, if good means zero voids )

For 3D panels, we were facing making male molds of squares with 18mm ply and a circular saw (CNC is a whole other discussion)

So we turned to the 3D Printer to create a system where we could make squares of any sizes by adding extra lockable-lengths.

We're thinking of commercialising these (which to us means using a whole different and better materials technology & something approaching mass-production)

We've gone to 20mm high so far, and 10mm & 5mm for other mutli-sided square panel thicknesses (foam core - CNC enclosure/Storage Boxes/Workshop Cabinets)

Interested ? Let us know

  • how much of a current problem this might be for you today,
  • whether it might be "game-changing" for you to set up a re-useable 3d square mold in under 2 minutes or
  • whether you have found a more convenient box-mold-maker than layers of almost-accurately cut plywood 😎

I've thrown together a kwik-pic.

It was a game-changer for us, and we have ideas of the next gen version - large interest or feedback would simply make us assign a higher priority to that development
